Wainscot Media is the winner of a 2015 Aster Award for its Advances in Healthcare series published for Westchester Medical Center. The Aster Awards, hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today, recognize the most outstanding healthcare marketing and advertising efforts in the country.
Advances in Healthcare included Advances in Healthcare for Women, Advances in Healthcare for Men, and Advances in Healthcare for Seniors and received a silver award for an academic medical center in the “Publication/External – Series” category. A silver award places the series in the top 12 percent nationally.
Aster Awards submissions are judged for their creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal. Advances in Healthcare scored highly thanks to targeted editorial content on a wide range of topics, informative call-out boxes, and specific calls to action in addition to its beautiful, eye-catching design.
2014 was the second year Wainscot published the Advances in Healthcare series. Each issue highlighted new breakthroughs and approaches in an individual service line and was mailed as a supplement to Westchester Medical Center’s health and lifestyle magazine, allowing the hospital to provide highly targeted information about its services to the people who need it in addition to its usual content.
Wainscot also won Aster Awards in 2011, 2012, and 2013 for its work in print and on social media.
