Facebook Messenger, the “new” email?
Many marketers are saying that Facebook Messenger is the “new” email. Don’t get me wrong email marketing still delivers the greatest ROI as confirmed by the 2018 Email Marketing Census, conducted by Econsultancy in association with Adestra, but messenger open rates within the first hour are almost four times higher than email’s average open rate.
“Facebook Messenger boasts open rates of 70 to 80% within the first hour, which is almost four times higher than email’s average open rate of 20.81%!”
