As a marketing director you probably interact with a lot of your colleagues in order to get things done. It’s likely you get invited to a lot of meetings.
If you’re like me, you’ve probably attended some “howlers” in the past. Some meetings in my history have seemed never-ending. Some of have seemed pointless. Many have seemed like an ineffective use of time.
I decided to conduct some research on how to run a rocking meeting. Some good news: Many of the experts agree on several fundamentals, like having an agenda. I also found some more unusual tips from icons of the business world like Steve Jobs, Marissa Mayer and Elon Musk.
Since it’s Friday and we’re allowed to have some fun, I summarized my findings in an infographic. I hope these tips help your future meetings fly by!
